Aldret family receipt book, 1829-1889.

Volume contains receipts of Sikke Aldret, Mary Aldret, Margaretta Aldret (later Albergotti), and Anna S. Aldret signed by various individuals. Several pages contain the receipts (1831-1836) of the pilot boat Cora, one of which mentions "Mr. Aldret." Other receipts (1829-1889 from school mistresses E. Halliday and Julia Norman) are for tuition for the children (some attached to book), rent (various dates for different locations in Charleston, S.C.) food, clothing, house repairs, wood, the hiring of a slave, and other items and services.
